1. Introduction

Welcome to Interncred! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using Interncred, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Interncred provides a platform connecting students seeking internships with companies offering opportunities. We also offer project development services for businesses.

2. Terms for Interns

Interncred offers various opportunities for students and aspiring professionals:

Interns can apply for and participate in internship opportunities free of charge
Administrative support is available throughout the internship for any process-related queries
Upon successful completion of an internship, interns may request a certification

Certification Policy

While internship participation is completely free, a minimal certification fee of ₹199 is required to receive an official Interncred Certificate of Completion and a Letter of Recommendation (LOR). These will be issued only if all internship instructions and requirements are followed. Students who are unable to pay the fee will still receive a Certificate of Participation if all instructions are followed, as we value the time and effort of every participant. The fee purely covers the logistics of certification and provides access to additional resources such as curated learning materials, resume templates, interview question banks and more.

3. Terms for Companies

Companies using Interncred services agree to the following terms:

Companies must provide accurate information about their organization and internship opportunities
All internship positions must offer meaningful learning experiences
Companies are expected to provide appropriate mentorship and guidance to interns
Any fees for premium recruitment services will be clearly communicated upfront

4. Project Development Services

For companies seeking project development services (website development, data analytics, data science projects, etc.), the following terms apply:

Payment Terms

A 50% advance payment of the total discussed amount is required before project initiation. The remaining 50% is due upon project completion and delivery.

Agreement

All project requirements, timelines, and deliverables will be documented in a formal agreement before work begins. Any changes to scope may affect timeline and pricing.

Project timelines will be established based on complexity and requirements. Regular updates will be provided throughout the development process.

5. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Interncred retains ownership of its platform, content, and pre-existing intellectual property
Companies own the intellectual property developed specifically for their projects
Interns retain ownership of their work portfolio but grant InternCred limited rights to showcase their work

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

7. Limitation of Liability

Interncred shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

Your use or inability to use our services
Any conduct or content of third parties on the platform
Unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information
Interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through our platform or via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
